Südafrika ist in neun Provinzen unterteilt – Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, Free State, North West, Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape und Kwazulu-Natal.
Die Hauptstadt Südafrikas ist Pretoria in Gauteng. Das Parlament befindet sich in Kapstadt und die juristische Hauptstadt ist Bloemfontein im Free State.
Die grossen Städte sind Johannesburg, Pretoria, Kapstadt, Durban, gefolgt von Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein und East London.
